TURKEY DAY - A RETROSPECT

This Thanksgiving, we broke with tradition and had our family meal at my little sister's house.

I love her kitchen - she is an amazing cook and did a wonderful job of hosting everyone.

It was just crisp enough to enjoy a nice fire

It was a beautiful, perfect day outside

Not exactly what most people picture when you say 'Thanksgiving", but it works for me!

    her house is gorgeous - that view!!! (I think we have the same exact faucet!!!)

    Oh how warm and balmy this looks.
    We celebrated with victuals and drink...
    and had tons of fun at home! For the past 2 Turkey days we were away, so it felt good to be home!
    fire in the fireplace, ping pong in the garage, plenty to share!

    Beautiful home, great views. I'm completely jealous. I had a lovely Thanksgiving in NY, but It wasn't anywhere near that warm.

    Your sister's home is beautiful! We went to my husband's family's house and my mom came along. It's nice to do Thanksgiving with both sides of the family.

    We had the traditional Thanksgiving Feast at my folks. They still want to have everyone(we all bring side dishes and deserts galore) while they can. Fun and festive for all.

    That weather works for moi... California Thanksgivings are usually warm! We had a little rain a couple days before to cool us down so we could have a fire in the fireplace too... it was a real treat!
    Your sister's house looks lovely... love the view outdoors!
