Well, as I sit here perusing design blogs while watching my beloved Tigers scrambling against the Angels, I was most thrilled to see the EH flag flying! Who knew???
Of course you deserve all the accolades...you're Ernie's granddaughter! For those of you who don't know, Ernie is and remains one of Michigan's most beloved personalities. He was the voice of the Detroit Tigers for as long as I can remember. When his soothing voice called the games of my youth and beyond I knew I wasn't the only one who dreamed of meeting Ernie and talking over the play of the day. He had that effect on everybody. Never a bad word spoken of or by the man.
What a role model for you, Anne!! My heart aches for you as I know how the rest of us have hurt since the day we heard the news. He may be ...long gone....but never forgotten.
