to support my case FOR LEAVING WELL ENOUGH ALONE!!
Why are they messing with orchids and giving them these garish and unnatural colors??
Has anyone else seen these around? Thoughts?
I am serving on jury duty today, but I will be back (hopefully) with a post by Friday.
Enjoy your Wednesday!
Ewww! Messed up is what my now "13" year old would say. You find the funniest things Anne. Have fun at Jury duty.

Good luck on your jury duty,
ReplyDeleteI know you'll do good in there.
That's so crazy! I love that muted pink of the old fashioned orchids the best. Hope you are having a good week Anne!

: ) For a second I thought you had discovered special orchids
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why they do that...happy jury duty Anne!
This "trend" hasn't reached my small Canadian city (thank God). I can't understand why someone would take something so beautiful and deliberately try to make it ugly.
ReplyDeletethis is especially sad for me because i just watched adaptation the other night! have you seen it? it's such a fab movie that always reignites my fascination with orchids and the florida swamp:)
ReplyDeleteI spot these frequently on the shelves in the grocery store floral section.... and quickly look away. Yikes!
ReplyDeletebest,

I have never understood this...so weird.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more! Was assaulted by an entire display of these last time I walked through the doors of the Home Depot!
