Pink is one of my favorite colors and I thought I'd include a few selections from my files. Some of them I have had for quite a while, and so am not sure of their source, but wherever possible, I have labeled them. Hope you all have a nice, relaxing weekend!

  1. lovely tribute to pink.
As my sons love to say, "It's a girls color" - I always tease them and tell them I will get it for them in "pink!"

  2. Thanks, Patricia. I was just reading yesterday, that until the last century, pink used to be considered a man's color because it was derived from red and stronger than blue, which was considered a more delicate, womanly color. Isn't that funny? It's all cultural conditioning!

  6. Thank you, Joni. Yes, I should've mentioned the hat - pretty bold, don't you agree? It almost looks like it's made of Lily of the Valley....I will have to ask grandma about that.
