lovely tribute to pink.
ReplyDeleteAs my sons love to say, "It's a girls color" - I always tease them and tell them I will get it for them in "pink!"

Patricia
Thanks, Patricia. I was just reading yesterday, that until the last century, pink used to be considered a man's color because it was derived from red and stronger than blue, which was considered a more delicate, womanly color. Isn't that funny? It's all cultural conditioning!
ReplyDeleteYAY I LOVE pink fridays!! I love pink everyday :)
ReplyDeleteOutstanding pics Anne, especially the pink bug in front of the pink building! - Gorgeous :)

ReplyDeleteJoni
Thank you, Joni. Yes, I should've mentioned the hat - pretty bold, don't you agree? It almost looks like it's made of Lily of the Valley....I will have to ask grandma about that.
