Martha Stewart pom-poms and hang them! There's something so appealing and summery about them. They add dimension to a room and would be great for a luncheon, shower, reception or dinner party. Heck, even a more permanent indoor decoration for Summer. Your own little installation! New colors are available now at Michaels. (click photo for enlarged view)
Have a super Spring Weekend and I will see you on Monday!

Hi Anne,
ReplyDeleteThese always make me smile and want to have a party too, though I have thought of just hanging them in my office since they make me happy.. Have a great weekend.
Anne, pompoms are in the air! Would you believe I just placed an order for pompoms earlier this week from http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6914690 I thought they would make a wonderful decor for my sweet niece's graduation party. I just might have to take a couple after the party to hang in "my fun" area.
ReplyDeleteHave a golden weekend my friend! xoxo
These are great! I too need an excuse now!
ReplyDeleteI used the black and silver version above my dining room table for Halloween. Have a lovely weekend Anne-it sounds like you've had a busy week!
ReplyDeleteThey make you smile! I recall versions of those that my mom did in the 60's. I love many of Martha's craft project kits that she sells through Walmart. Clever ideas.

Darling, bright and fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is a long week-end here in Vancouver and I am enjoying a rest dreaming of creating some fun Pom Poms.
ReplyDeletepssst, they're really easy to make without martha! her color combinations are really sweet, but my mom used to make them when she was young, and taught me how to when i was a little girl. i bet with your artistic skillz you could whip up a color combination just as sweet as martha! i'm posting a blog how-to about it soon! :)
ReplyDeletei have white ones hanging over my kitchen table :)
ReplyDeleteI got the idea from Martha but made them from scratch with various shades of blue for my son's 1st birthday.. They were beautiful and such a hit..
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, we used to make kleenex tissue carnations to stick on cars when we were celebrating a wedding.. that is what these remimd me of.. happy celebrations..
