ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON

I couldn't resist sharing this recent photo of my 5 year old nephew, Sam, in one of his many dress-up modes. He put this look together completely on his own, ala' Sherlock Holmes. I love his creativity!

    Hi Anne- saw the article on your Grandpa in the NY times today! People of his character and generation are leaving us - wondering where their replacements will be- not seeing any currently! With your nephew perhaps there's hope!

    I love the little guy! I played dress up a ton when I was little, and we have some very incriminating videos and photos to prove it. Personally, I think all adults should have a dress up box too, don't you?

    I think one of my nephew's happier moments so far was playing dress-up with a pirate's outfit at a kid's museum, and running around on the ship there, too :)

    such zest and imagination... kids are wonderful.
