CAFFEINE FOR KIDS

No, this is not an ad for Starbucks and I am not receiving any compensation other than a smile. This is my nephew Sam enjoying his coffee - a treat for him. I hope that you take a minute for a break this weekend, whether it's with coffee or something else you enjoy......after all, it's the little things that keep you going! Have a terrific weekend.

  2. funny - reminds me of my daughter who went with friends and told me she had a "iced coffee" with a guilty look. :) I was not with her to police her.
Later she of course could not make her normal bed time. At least she knows the cause and effect of caffeine now!

  6. How cute is Sam, already drinking coffee? I was a big tea drinker when I was 3, now I drink coffee. Thanks for the wonderful reminder, oh how I would love to just sit and drink coffee at some cafe this weekend. Hope yours is a beautiful and relaxing weekend.

  7. Sam is adorable. In our family we'd call him a "toe" head. Actually, not sure why that, but it always pertained to being very blonde. Great advice for us all, it IS those 'little things' that make the world go round.
    Happiness to you Anne ~

  9. I was given coffee with cream and sugar by my grandmother when I would spend the night with her. She would also make me toast in the oven and to this day, I love coffee and I make toast the same way.

He is adorable. An expensive habit to have at 4:)

  16. My grandmother used to give my sister and I coffee (with tons of milk and sugar) when we were little. Not sure a 5 year old NEEDS coffee but I'm sure it ignited our life long love affair with caffeine!

  17. my grandma used to give me coffee in pretty china, emphasis on the milk & sugar...this is the modern version. ;)
my 5 year old always asks for coffee or tries to sneak sips of mine...his teacher was telling them that in heaven you will get rewards you don't get on earth and he asked "can i order a latte and get one in heaven?" nice one.
