HOUSEBOAT

I am loving this colorful houseboat on the Thames River that I saw a photo tour of here. It belongs to author Josie Curran and revolutionizes the concept of the dreary, damp, spider-laden houseboat. Lots of fun.

  3. Oh Anne, you would never think that it was a houseboat, would you ? I L-O-V-E that battered old leather chair.
My neice lives on a dutch barge on the river, just outside London and they have just had an 'extension' on it where it was cut in half and a new piece put in. It was pretty large before the extension, so it will be very spacious now. XXXX
