Is this a perfect pool house or what?
Unfortunately, I clipped this out of a magazine so long ago that I have forgotten its origins (more blogger demerits for me!) All that matters is that it's stunning and, visually speaking, equal to taking a deep breath . I want to create the trellised ivy on a wall very soon...time to break out some nylon fishline and nails.
Do you dig it?
Oh yes....I could splash around here all day long.

That is a wonderful pool house. Paint the ivy on! We have plenty here and would prefer it wasn't. It's truly destructive.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I did the trellis thing with star jasmine...it looked great and bonus, smelled divine.
ReplyDeletesoooooooo lovely!!! Doesn't it look so cool and refreshing? I'm a huge fan of the vines grown into a trellis pattern too. I'm going to take a quick dip before the maid brings lemonade...
ReplyDeleteAbsolute perfection! Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's beautiful. I too have a dreamy outdoor room/pool house picture that I tore from House and Garden (the British issue) some time ago. It is built out of stone with pantiled terracotta roof tiles, complete with large fireplace, rustic furniture and big lamps with equally large shades, candles, large soft pillows, I could go on, it's stunning and I am hanging on to it in the hope that some day, I can replicate this in a home of my own!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

Gorgeous. I particularly love how the spa flows into the pool and how well they both work with the architecture of the pool house.
ReplyDeleteOh this is absolutely exquisite! The ivy is incredible, I don't know if I have ever seen it trellissed like that. We are getting ready for pool season here in Vegas, I love my pool, but wish I had a pool house...like that!

It's awesome and I am jealous it's not part of my backyard! I have tried, unsuccessfully on several occasions to get Ivy to grow up a trellis. Any suggestions? It grows up my house instead?! help!! Found you through the comments on A Tranquil House.
