the tree might look something like this......I can't decide whether to cover the base of my little tree with a blanket - Linus-style - or to leave it alone to enhance the pitiful effect.....what do you think? Cast your vote!!
You could always find a small square box that the base fits into and cover it in some festive pinky paper to match...Tiffany style..or even cover the metal base with some coloured paper or aluminium foil so that it doesnt stand out so much? just a thought? ;) x
I have this silver lame fabric from an event that would work perfectly! I'll cut you a swatch if you'd like! Love the classy sand idea, but super sparkly could work too. :)

I like Beach House Living' s idea! A white and silver scarf 'foofed' around the base. So cute!

Hi Anne: yes, I say wrap a little 'blankie' around it and add one big ornament that weights down just one branch...:))
ReplyDeleteDefinitely drape something around the base to balance it out. Something silver would look great. Charlie Brown tree in drag! Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI love it but I would cover the base. Kate (my daughter) has a very similar one on her room:) Merry Chrsitmas Anne!
ReplyDeleteI love that precious tree!
ReplyDeleteA girlie version of a Linus blanket would be great!
Anne,
ReplyDeleteI'd use a blue Tiffany box iand glitter tree skirt tucked into the box. Effects would be one of a kind.
