MASSIMO MONDAY

I hope that you all had a nice weekend!
I am glad to report that my computer was released from the hospital and has now recovered fully. It's pretty tough to carry on without your computer when you run an internet business. So, now that my internet capabilities have been restored, I am getting back to life as usual, thank God!

I love Massimo Vitali's work.  His portrayal of beach life in Italy captures the essence and celebrates the kitsch of European resort culture.  A couple of these hanging on the wall would be a nice addition to any eclectic decor. Check out his wonderful range on his website here. I also really dig the sound of the surf as his audio backdrop. Ahhhhh........

  4. I've always loved the washed out quality of those images - it's like looking into a searing sun or possibly just pulling a towel off your face after a long beach nap.

Hey - I keep meaning to tell you. I'm going to be in Key west the week before Easter. Do you ever make it down that way? I'd love to see you.

  10. I hate when something I've bought doesn't work. It's the most annoying thing in the world. Nice images! I'm totally ready for summer!

Thanks very much for commenting on my blog!

I love these pictures..my husband and I spent part of our honeymoon in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast so I felt nostalgic looking at Massimo's work.
