After a record dry Winter and Spring, we are now experiencing quite a healthy amount of rainfall (read afternoon monsoons) and some steamy temps here in South Florida. Not the ideal circumstances for good hair days! However, I think I may have found the perfect solution....or not. It occured to me that this design incorporates several popular trends now in decorating: "tented" ceilings, scallops, and a crown motif. The headaches a contraption like this could bring on just might not be worth it. Perhaps I should stick with a ponytail and save the bottle of Excedrin.Have a wonderful weekend!

Anne-Interesting idea! We are having incredible amounts of rain here in DC as well. Normally now it is hot and dry. The garden likes it more than my hair does. Have a great weekend.

Lol...I lived in Key West for 4 years, and don't think I straighted my hair once...well maybe a couple of feeble attemts, but as soon as my head sweated...that was it...fuzz.
Keep cool this summer :)
I don't know, I may need to look into this as a possibility. Currently I'm reading up on how to build an ark!

My head feels bereft without a head-dress of this stature. I dreamt of this sort of gear, when I was a little girl - I always wanted to wear one for a day. I suppose it is never too late.

I'd love to have some of your rain, Anne! Houston is normally pretty wet in the summer but it's been bone dry so far this month. I've been having to water my yard just about daily to keep everything alive.
