A BLONDE MOMENT

I must've been standing on my head lately because I have had a series of what some like to call "blonde moments". I completely forgot to announce the winner of the Dolce Dreams Give-Away yesterday as I had promised. I would like to congratulate Loui - you are the winner!
A huge thanks to Nathalie at Dolce Dreams for sponsoring the generous give-away.

**On a side note, I have been struggling with some carpal tunnel issues recently, so please forgive my lack of response to your comments. I am trying to nip a case of CTS in the bud by taking it easy with my keyboard. I do appreciate all of your comments and will get around to visiting your blogs again soon!

Now we blondes are entitled to have a few moments - are we not? You never looked better standing on your head! Take care of that CTS- and congrats to Loui and thanks to Nathalie at Dolce Dreams for the nice give-away.

Oh, feel better! I wonder if it's from too much blogging. That doll reminds me of one I had as a kid and her eyes changed color.... I think it was called a Blythe doll? I wonder if that is what it is... I loved that doll. xo

Anne,
I have them daily...especially as I age! Guess if we're born blonde it's always there...I usually go with darker low-lights in the fall/winter and...it doesn't help!!! HAHAHA!

Love that little doll image, totally made me laugh.

Congrats to the winner and take care of your hand so you can create beautiful art!
xo,

That doll is adorable! Brunette that I am, I have my blonde moments often :). Thank you so much Anne for hosting this giveaway, I am off to visit Loui...and thanks to all who entered!
I had terrible carpal tunnel only while I was pregnant. Recently, with all of the computer time going on, I have had it again, so remembered an old trick...a little velcro band by Wristaleve. Just wear it while typing, it made mine go away this time.
Feel better! Miss you :)

Congratulations to the winner. The upside down photo is a great way to have conveyed a blonde moment.

I have blonde moments more often than I'd like to admit! I'm currently blaming it on the hot days we've had (although it likely has nothing to do with it!!)
Hope you're feeling better soon! xo

'the blonde moment' thing must be going around!!!
over here on the east coast....
i am as blonde as can be.
i have been having brain farts right and left.
and it is not too great at work.
transposing numbers and forgetting things.
i am sure it is stress.

Hello Anne,
I have my own issues with said tunnel. I followed an avant-guard, cortisone based treatment about a decade ago. It worked for five years as promised. My homeopath recommended vitamin B. It works on the basis of strengthening the nerves. Also, gently pressing your palm against, say, your bed or your desk like doing push-ups,releases the strain.
Relax and enjoy Autumn (sunny and warm as it still is in this part of the world, though we are in for some rain tomorrow!).
