Happy Monday! I don't know about you, but we had a glorious Fall weekend here with beautiful blue skies and perfect temperatures. I hope your week is off to a good start.
For the needlework enthusiast or those looking ahead for holiday gifts, here is my "Suzani Settee" available as a needlepoint canvas now from Art Needlepoint. The original painting is also still for sale here.

We did too...and it got quite warm in Nashville yesterday! Love the Suzani Settee! Take care, Caroline
Anne,
Needlepoint is a great meditative art. It's hard to find the time and yet harder to put down once you start a piece to complete. Love the look and appreciate the art form.

You always blow me away with your talents. I can't even paint by number without making mistakes.
Have a great week ~

It's so pretty Anne! Love the chair pattern and the background color!
Wow! You are so talented!
so pretty and a lovely gift idea! Glad you were blessed with a beautiful weekend - we were too here in Ireland and it really makes for a wonderful time! :)
I can't do needle work anymore have to send all my things out for heming, etc. If I still did needle point that would be a great canvas.

Yes, it was a glorious weekend, wasn't it? I love that you made this beautiful painting into a needlepoint canvas. Funny, my daughter, who is 23, told me just recently that she would like to take up needlepoint.
Best,
Colleen
I've been wanting to do some needlepoint and then I saw this! Love it. However, I'm confused. Does it not come with thread? Is that separate? Would this be a good one for a beginner? thx
I agree with lila. I want talent like that!

Happy week to you! My sister was just here visiting from Paris and we had gorgeous sunshine every single day for a week. Now we are back to our typical fall rain. Enjoy your lovely days!

My grandmother taught me crewel, and i did some great pieces when I was younger. This is fabulous Anne! We were in Ann Arbor, MI last weekend for 'the wedding' and it was gloriously cool and crisp! 90+ here today in ATL! xx
What a fabulous idea Anne! It's just a pity I never learned needlepoint, but maybe this is a good time to learn. Actually, I'd really love the original painting - maybe I should ask Santa nicely? K xx
I'm a needlepointer (is that even a word?!) and I think this canvas would make a lovely pillow. Or even wall hanging. I love that you've been able to turn so many of your pieces into canvases.
That is a gorgeous design !! LOve it !! So glad I came accross your blog!!
