ALYS PALACE

Some of you may have read past posts where I mentioned Alys Beach, a spectacular little jewel of a resort community on Florida's Gulf Coast. This place is an idyllic spot for vacationing or even living year-round.
This home is an example of the charming homes available for sale and rent. Get a load of that courtyard....

I have a distinct weakness for white stucco, fountains, classic pools and a sugar white beach....

Not your typical resort rental interiors, either. I don't see any velour, fluffy lazy boy recliners or oversized psuedo Tommy Bahama print fabrics, thank God!

and I couldn't resist showing a photo of my nephew, taken by my brother, that headlined the community
e-newsletter this month. Pretty cute, eh?

What a darling little boy!

I love Alys Beach. I'd be a happy girl staying there. And visiting the donut truck! :)

You're right, not your typical beach interior which I LOVE, beach homes can get so tacky. I love that pool and courtyard..I JUST asked my husband how long it would take to drive down to Florida!

Some of my fondest memories are going to Florida with my best friend in High school and her family. We thought we were hot stuff in our Lilly clad selves, headbands and Bernardo shod tootsies.
I think I would be pretty hot stuff it that spot were mine. Heck, I'd even take in those two lolipop kids.
I would want to add some bright pops of lemon grass, and pink. You could come visit anytime.
A gal can dream!

Love Alys Beach. Right up the street from me. There is something soothing about all of the white, and I love the tower. And by the way, your nephew is adorable.
Have a nice day, Anne.

Ha! So happy to finally see what the inside of one of these beautiful homes looks like. We always drive thru Alys Beach while vacationing and steal glimpses of the amazing homes and that pool! Seems pretty much like perfection to me!

Alys beach is so pretty. We spent some time there last summer. I took our Christmas card photos there in fact.

Alys beach looks fabulous to me...especially this time of year when it's cold and gray in New England.
