BONNIE LONNY

When I browse through a magazine, I am all about the visual stimulation, way more than the text. I am first a "looker" and then a "reader". If the visuals aren't tempting then I am probably not going to take it to the next step and actually read the text. Online magazine Lonny is one of my favorites - they never fail to deliver the eye candy I am craving and these two photos are my favorites from the latest issue.

The colors are reviving and inspiring!

DOWNTIME, DESIGN-TIME

Another week....gone! 

I have gotten a lot accomplished and am ready for a little down time this weekend - what about you?  One of the things I love doing is checking out some great online home decor mags. Lonny is one that never fails to inspire me. Here, talented stylist Lilli Dialo helped Lauren Goodman up the punch factor in her NYC apartment. I am loving the color of these chairs, as well as the colors on the books and those gorgeous Smythson boxes on the shelf. I am a sucker for great boxes + color.

LUSCIOUS LONNY

OK, I am a little late to the game here, since LONNY debuted last week and everyone is blogging about it. I just couldn't resist, because I haven't seen anything in the blog community SO worth jumping on the bandwagon for in a looong time. As much as there was web-wide mourning when Domino bit the dust, there is now a collective squeal of delight from design junkies at the advent of LONNY.

Uber-talented Michelle Adams (of Rubie Green) and photographer Patrick Cline have partnered with a bevy of brighties from the design community to put together this online magazine that will knock your socks off. It's amazing and I am sure, if you haven't already read it from cover to cover (like me), you're in for a treat. AND..... IT'S COMPLETELY FREE.....HOW  CAN YOU BEAT THAT? Talk about a design stimulus that is sensitive to our current economic climate. Check it out here!
