L' ATELIER DU CAP GRIS-NEZ

Here is another beautiful piece from my French friend Pascale. She is quite a talented artisan and elevates the profession of upholsterer to an entirely new level. If you haven't been to her blog yet, please take a moment to check out her masterpieces here.

That is such a talent. I'm going to rush right over and take a look. Does she make house calls???

She's great, isn't she? Her work makes me want to change my profession. It must be great to be able to give old, drab furniture a totally new life...

So true-an excellent upholsterer can transform a piece into a work of art. I visited her website and her work is something else. Not only is her website in French and English, there is a google widget where you can translate a blog into another language. How cool is that? There is always something new to discover!

Now, how did that chair find you...have you painted it yet? I love the color and her work, "c'est tres beau!"

The chair and the fabric is beautiful! She has talent to make a chair come alive and still hold it's original grace. Are these your chairs?

P.S. It's so funny we both love that bathroom. I've been staring at it lately as I find it so calming hehe.
