I love it when someone creative moves into a neighborhood and has the guts to do something different and unexpected. I lost track of the origins of this photo, it's been in my archives so long, but I believe it's in Buenos Aires, Argentina. That's a definite place on my go-to list.
Have a great weekend, everybody! See you on Monday!

I love this!
Love it. Would like to know the story behind the people living there.
I LOVE it! The architecture is beautiful, and the owner had the boldness to see beyond white.
Enjoy your weekend!
When I was in junior high, I read a book titled "Dare to Be Different"...It was about young women, coming of age and feeling good about themselves and their choices. It made an impression. I've always appreciated when someone dares to color outside of the lines and show their true colors. This is fabulous Anne. Have a super weekend!
Anne-Love the pink. Have a great weekend!
Anne,
I love it...how much fun would it be to walk up to that each day!
Have a fab weekend!
Blessings...

How fun is this?? screaming HAPPY ME....thanks for a great parting shot and have a great weekend.
Just lovely...I just finished rendering a townhouse this week; they are fun, because of what you chose to include on the sides. This one definatly stands out on the block.
Argentina is suppose to be beautiful! Hope you get there.
That is seriously GREAT! I think B.A. is now on my go-to list also!
i know, it is pretty great when a person is sure enough, confident enough , and brave enough to follow through on what they " Really Want To Do ."
xx
Beautiful architectural details on both the pink and the white building. Also, love the doors on both.
It's fabulous! Wonder what kind of business it is? Thanks for sharing this Anne...you know how we love colour.

Love the brave and love the pink. Have a wonderful weekend Anne, xv.
Again, you address such fun things. Can you imagine giving your guests direction "Pink House" you won't miss it. Just tickled Pink!
Love the pic,and yes in Palermo BA.
I think you have said it...it does take guts to have style, doesn't it. I love love love that pink.. wow! It's like the perfect shade. Sometimes I still stare at my bright blue front door and think people are like who is the crazy lady with that bright door and it is just my door. This year I want to paint it pink but I don't think my husband is going to go for that. I think it would be pretty cool. I could be the crazy lady that paints her door a different color every summer. And what a memory that would make for my kids!

happy weekend, Anne! xoxo
Yes, let's find out who this fabulous townhome belongs to; they must be very interesting and artistic people!
This makes me want to get my big brushes out! Hmmmm, maybe the front door!
Have a great weekend.

This reminds me of a house in my neighborhood when I was growing up that was bright purple. My sister and I always got such a thrill out of driving by it. Buenos Aires is amazing...happy to give you some travel tips if you make it down there!
I love it!!! Way to stand out..will definitely help with giving people directions.. just say "go to the red house on the block"
Love it, Love it, Love it
Thanks for the post, Hope your weekends going great CAM
I forgot to memntion that normally I would not want to be across the street and look out at a home like ths, somehow though this is different in a beautiful way, (My parents, in a lovely Cape Cod, have a bright turquoise house across the street from them. Of course the owners do not have to look out the windows at it!
hi anne- reminds me of Schnabel's Palazo Chupi in NYC- same color!
I've seen this building in person, and it is fab!

Raspberry Sorbet! Love it. Could very well be in Athens, too, though it's not, judging from the taxi. But the mixture of styles is typical.
Aesthetically I am not for it, I'm afraid. I would like it more if it were for a new building. But I agree about the unexpected and creative part. I just not favor the destructive bit!
HOLA, MUY BUENA FOTO, GRACIAS POR PUBLICAR, LO LINDO DE MI PAIS
How gorgeous! Old wrpld architecture matches well with wild pink. :)
