DOWNTIME, DESIGN-TIME

Another week....gone!
I have gotten a lot accomplished and am ready for a little down time this weekend - what about you?  One of the things I love doing is checking out some great online home decor mags. Lonny is one that never fails to inspire me. Here, talented stylist Lilli Dialo helped Lauren Goodman up the punch factor in her NYC apartment. I am loving the color of these chairs, as well as the colors on the books and those gorgeous Smythson boxes on the shelf. I am a sucker for great boxes + color.
Hope you relish some down time this weekend!

Anne,

Right about this time of year all design work nearly completed and clients are all gone on holiday.

Make-up work schedules slow then pick-up in December for parties and pictures.

Clothing re-styling starts up in January.

So it's me connecting with technology (new laptop) iPhone apps and learning new things.

Grateful for down time to focus on what counts...us!

Loving that vignette. The color coded books are great. I waffle between that and covering them in vellum. I have the same dictionary that is on the shelf. I heard the other day they aren't going to print dictionary's anymore, isn't that crazy. I'm a sucker for great boxes also. I just recently learned about Lonny and it's terrific. Have a great, low key weekend.

I love this look, the colour co-ordinated books and chairs. If only I had an enormous house for all the different looks I like! :)

Hello this is the first time to your blog. This pic is wonderful as my hubby just had a bookshelf built for me (5' wide and 7'high). I'm so excited.

I have been following Lonny from the premier issue, Its awesome.
