As many of you may know by now, I have a distinct fondness for chairs and have to stop myself from painting them continually. Once in a while I give in and here is a painting I just finished! The original is available now in my shop and so are prints!

Just beautiful! Don't ever hold back on painting chairs - they are divine! Mx
Anne,
Love the green Ikat design so perfect as we get closer to fall. This time in summer is actually a great time to start Christmas lists while the living is unhurried and we think of simple pleasures and people.
Keep painting chairs they mean something to you in an unconscience way...they comfort you. Realize through your work you bring comfort to others. Sounds like a full circle moment to me.

Totally agree with designs by M...never stop painting them Anne, they are incredibly delightful and unique.

Another triumph Anne. Keep the chair paintings coming. They are your signature. XXXX
I love it! Your chair pieces have always appealed to me since I first saw them :) Your detail is lovely.

Chairs are my addiction.....funny how they affect some of us.....smiles
So charming - love the green!! I can understand your love of chairs - I think many designers are in your camp as well - there's something so anthropomorphic about them - they seem to have their own personalities!!
I love your obsession! xo
