KITCHEN CHARM

I love this kitchen!
I found it on Pinterest (where else?!!) The brightly hued art against all of the white is stunning. I also gravitate towards the marble vs. the generic granite that everyone has these days. Granite smacks too much of headstones in a graveyard for my tastes and once any trend takes over 50% of the population, I am automatically tired of it. The absence of upper cabinets is totally refreshing as well - makes the kitchen seem more like a real room, don't you think?
I hope you have a terrific weekend and don't forget my Mother's Day sale is still on for a few more days! 20% off everything in my Etsy shop (except the pillows). Just type in code at checkout: MOMS20

So cool. I love it that you used such an ordinary thing that we're all trying to replace now in our homes.

Beautiful kitchen, Anne. I love the kitchen without the upper cabinets too. Kitchens really are beginning to look more like a living room.
Happy Friday.

I love this, especially the pops of color and pattern against the white!

The high slab backsplash is outstanding, like a baseboard for your counter.

And I'm with you on the granite thing, Sister. Plus it emits radon and who needs that?

I agree Anne! I am over the granite myself - the marble is gorgeous and I love a kitchen with no upper cabs - have a great weekend!! ;-))

Good ol' pinterest...I'm totally addictied, it's sick! With a newborn I can't think straight, but who needs to think when you can just look at something pretty and pin it to your board. Great kitchen...need to pin it now! Hope all is well!

A beautiful kitchen.
I don't like overhead cupboards either, but have to admit I'm short on storage space so we are making a walk in pantry!
Love art work in kitchens.

What a cheery room. I agree about granite. It just reminds me of newer cookie cutter homes that lack charm and character.
