MOVING ANNOUNCEMENT

Happy Monday!
I'm getting caught up on work today after a busy weekend away. I just wanted to share a commissioned illustration I completed for some great clients who are sending out a moving announcement.

Wednesday, May 15, 2013

I just completed this home portrait as a gift that was commissioned by two daughters-in-law for their mother in law. It captures a beloved family home that has hosted many memorable waterfront vacations in Sarasota, Florida. To commission a keepsake or gift of your own, contact me here for pricing and additional info.

TEXAS CANINE WITH STYLE

I hope that you had a great weekend!
This is Zoe, an adorable dog who lives in Texas with a great client of mine who commissioned me to paint her portrait, in her pearls no less!
Texans really do love to look their best, and that includes their dogs as well. Zoe is a princess.

BRIDAL BOUQUET

This is a recent commission that was painted as a gift for a bride of her bridal bouquet.
I love flowers and this bride had a particularly beautiful bouquet full of old fashioned English roses and some peonies as well. My client could not have chosen a more thoughtful gift for her friend that
will preserve her bouquet permanently!
Have a great weekend.

STRAVINSKIJ BAR - ROME

Garden Courtyard of Hotel de Russie

I've had the joy of visiting Rome several times, so it was fun to take on this commission from a wonderful client in the fashion world. She wanted me to capture the Stravinskij Bar at Hotel de Russie near Piazza del Popolo in Rome, Italy. I actually stayed just down the street in a flat on there on Via del Babuino about 10 years ago and had a very memorable time. The Hotel de Russie is a very chic and historic hotel that has long been known as THE spot to stay in Rome, from as far back as when the "European Grand Tour" was in vogue for the jet set.

Please let me know if there's a special place that you'd like me to capture in a custom painting - you can contact me here for details & pricing.
Have a GREAT Monday - I am packing and moving this week!!   Some sore muscles here...

HAVE A SEAT.....

This chair is just one of several chair commissions I did recently for one of my favorite clients in Boston.
She is a dream client and this classic wingback is part of her chair collection that I have been working on one by one....
I am lining up commission work now that it's 2013 - please contact me here for more details and pricing.

CAMELLIAS & WHITE CHAPELS

This is a recent commission completed just before Christmas for a great client in Portland, Oregon.
She asked me to paint the church she was married in and I loved the angle of the photo she sent me. I liked the "looking up" view as opposed to just straight on - adds a bit of interest. It was fun to capture some architectural details unique to the church as well as the gorgeous camellia bush in full bloom in front.
Why not commission your own painting as a keepsake or a gift for a loved one?
Contact me here for details and very reasonable pricing.

AN AUSTRALIAN WEDDING

I felt privileged to get the opportunity to paint this beautiful St. John's Cathedral in Brisbane, Australia when a client commissioned this portrait of her wedding party on her special day.  The bride was as stunning as the cathedral and the happy couple now have a special keepsake to remember their special day and the loved ones who were there to support them.

C. BELL DOES IT WELL

As many of you know, Palm Beach  furnishings retailer C. Bell is a valued Annechovie sponsor.
I created the illustration and ad above and it features a piece from the soon-to-come C. Bell Collection. The "Palm Bed" in white. Owner Christine Bell has such a keen eye for style and supplies some of America's most prominent interior designers with both new AND vintage pieces (like those above) and has been featured in many of the leading design publications. It's great to work with someone who shares the same aesthetic and is so nice as well! Please take a moment to go to the site and check out her great pieces.  Also, if you're interested in a custom illustration for your own advertising materials, I'd love to work with you - contact me here for more info.

AT THE OFFICE

This painting of an office/studio was commissioned by a client last year. It was fun for me to include all of the elements she wanted, along with a few details via artistic license.  Why not have me paint a custom piece for you or as a holiday gift for someone special? I am beginning to take orders now.
Feel free to contact me for more info. and pricing here.

STATELY SOUTHERN HOME

I love interiors and they were some of my very first subjects when I started painting years back. This is a recent commissioned piece on canvas that I painted for a client in Georgia. It's of her mother's elegant living room and a very special chair that her father always sits in while they open their gifts on Christmas morning.
What a thoughtful gift and a great way to visually document a well-loved home and such special memories. If you're interested in something similar why not contact me here for more information?

ANA CORDEIRO & A LISBON STOREFRONT

The amazing thing about blogging is the way your location ceases to matter when it comes to connecting with people all over the world.  I have met some great people, whether or not we've ever come in contact face-to-face as yet. The opportunity to connect over common views, taste or interests isn't limited by geographic status and there's no lack of diversity. A few months ago, I ran across the work of a particular designer, before I was even aware of her identity. I kept seeing photos of her bright and clean design aesthetic popping up and had to pin them to my Pinterest board.  I received an email from a designer asking for details on commissioning a few paintings from me and when I visited her website, I realized it was HER! Ana Cordeiro. Ana is based in Lisbon, Portugal and is a very talented designer and entrepreneur who runs both a bricks and mortar shop and is soon opening an online design business/web shop. She was recently featured in Adore magazine and her elegant and colorful work is popping up everywhere!
I so enjoyed painting her charming (pink!) storefront above.

Ana is a lovely woman with a ton of flair. She likes to mix gorgeous color with clean, classic lines and plenty of white. An infusion of "happy" in any space. My kind of decorating!
Take a look at some of her work below......

Please take a few moments to stop by Ana's website here
If you're interested in having me capture your storefront, home or a little vignette on paper or canvas, please contact me here for more details and pricing.
