Pink is one of my favorite colors and I thought I'd include a few selections from my files. Some of them I have had for quite a while, and so am not sure of their source, but wherever possible, I have labeled them. Hope you all have a nice, relaxing weekend!

lovely tribute to pink.
As my sons love to say, "It's a girls color" - I always tease them and tell them I will get it for them in "pink!"

Thanks, Patricia. I was just reading yesterday, that until the last century, pink used to be considered a man's color because it was derived from red and stronger than blue, which was considered a more delicate, womanly color. Isn't that funny? It's all cultural conditioning!

Thank you, Joni. Yes, I should've mentioned the hat - pretty bold, don't you agree? It almost looks like it's made of Lily of the Valley....I will have to ask grandma about that.

I am a pink lover, too! It is such an ageless color and when you wear it you can only feel good!

Love your pink collection. My favorite is still your first, the "Pink Espresso" painting. I would become an espresso addict with that in my kitchen.
