PHILLIPE BALAYN

I recently discovered French papier-mache artist Phillipe Balayn while browsing through an issue of Cote Sud. I was completely charmed by his work! The level of detail involved is amazing and the whimsical and quirky nature of his work left me wanting to discover more. Now I need to find out if he has any anchovy pieces! Check out his site here.

I love these. The ducks are too cute and visiting his site forced me to practice my francais a bit. It seems we are seeing more papier mache art lately. Any plans on you trying it since you are such a talented lady?

Anne,

These are so fun! Never limit the heights of an artist because there aren't any. Discovery of another's fabulous work give us sparks for our own.
