TIFFANY BLUE WEEKEND PROJECT

Sometimes all it takes is a little paint......

a somewhat lackluster and worse-for-wear cube shelf from West Elm

and VOILA! A new "frame" to showcase your favorite tschokes. A mini gallery.
The color does not show up well in these photos, but I was aiming a shade or 2 lighter than a "Tiffany box" blue and this came out just right for me - a rarity with paint colors. Recession or not, I am all about transformations with the existing. It can be so gratifying when it comes out well! Do you have anything laying around that just needs a little "face lift"?

What a happy spring color lift! That's a clever little frame for changing around the things that inspire you. I have a few things that could benefit from a little spring paint.

Just what a need - a fresh coat of paint. That would be sweet wall papered too. I am lurving a certain paper now. Do you like wall paper, Anne?

Anne, You quickly grabbed my attention with that can of paint! You are right, blues can be funny. Just painted master bathroom a lighter shade of "Tiffany" blue. One of my favorite colors. Still trying to get used to it. Thinking it would have been smarter to have used a color more complimentary to the complexion in that area.
Your project turned out just great!

Love your project. I have been looking for a good light Tiffany blue to lighten up my dinning room. I'm so excited about your recommendation of Weathered Glass. I will check it out. Thanks for the tip.
