I can almost feel the Texas Heat and the spray of a in ground sprinkler...looks like a lovely home.
I think homes now have taken on new meaning with all the financial challenges yet we are all putting more into our homes. I think it is where one finds refuge and family. Nice work Anne. -

Anne, I didn't tell you yet but my parents were SO touched. They loved it. It's now hanging in pride in their kitchen so my mom can look at it every day (her words, not mine). Happy weekend!

I promise promise promise to ask you to do this for us as soon as we move into a house. We live in a condo complex, which though nice, has a WEIRD!!! HOA. Just plain weird! I don't want to remember much about it when/if I leave here. Not complaining, just saying. : )
Love this, love this! I think having you create your lovely illustrations would be a great idea as a gift to all my clients when they purchase a home from me; once I pass my real estate test of course. If I blogged less & studied more, I do believe would assist in speeding-up the process! Ha!
