My latest subject, a winsome Dallas, TX pooch by the name of Tilly. I don't have any pets myself, so painting all of these adorable dogs is having an effect on me and there may be a day when I actually adopt one for myself! If you have a beloved pet you'd like immortalized or know of someone who does, please don't hesitate to
contact me with any questions!

Hi there,
I love this painting of this dog. I am going to feature you on my blog www.kristinpearce.blostpot.com
Just curious, how much do you charge for a comission like this? I would love for you to paint mine!
:) kristin
Miss Tilly is adorable and I know her owner will treasure your lovely work.
Oh... this is so cute! Having the blue background is a perfect color for Miss Tilly.
Have a golden day!

Oops I posted and not sure what happened.
I love this painting of Tilly! She is a cutie! The blue background is so her color. A beautiful job Anne!
Have a golden day! xoxo
PS I hope some day you do adopt a little friend. smile....
hmmmm...i just might anne. i JUST might. nicolas the cat is a family superstar and super cat that NEEDS immortalizing.
This just brought tears to my eyes. In Nov I lost my best buddy Chevy after 12 years of love & licks. This might be the perfect thing for me. I love this idea!! Thanks for this post!!
Tilly is beautiful! xo
I think an assistant with 4 legs would be a nice addition to your world. They provide unconditional love and the walks help me to work through creative blocks. They say pets add years to one's life.
What kind are you thinking about? Just think of all the fun accessories for your assistant? Bright leads, preppy collars and so forth...
Anne, thank you so much for doing such a fabulous job capturing Tilly's cute little personality (says her mommy completely objectively). My husband loved his bday present and we found the perfect place for it in our family room!
Anne-Tilly is wonderful-the dog's personality really comes through. You should do a post showing all of your pet portraits-I remember you have done some fabulous ones.
loving the dallas puppy!
you are so very talented!!

So adorable - I can see why you would want some pups around now!
that is a really impressive job! love the attention to shadow in her fur :)
So beautiful. I'll have to put you on my wish list.
love the tiffany blue background - nice painting of the pooch
Tilly is the cutest and you have captured her fantastically, Anne! You are a very talented lady.....I am sure Tilly's "humans" are very pleased with your portrait of their girl!
xoxo...........Lee
wow, very cute!
How adorable! May I ask what you charge? I guess you work from a photo? I had someone paint my last dog (who died at 15). I had taken a photo of him running on the beach just as the sun was rising. I gave the artist several pictures, and she chose that one. So glad I had her paint the picture. He's gone, but I am still reminded of that fabulous new morning. cheers, -susan
holy cuteness batman! wonderful job with the fur.
What a great painting of Tilly. You might have to break down and get a pet, too. They are so sweet!

that adoption might come sooner then you think;)
miss tilly is a doll. I love the baby blue background. I could see my norman alexander with that background over the mantle at my beach house to be. :)
Gorgeous! I love the way you capture pets!
Perhaps I've seen Miss Tilly out and about here in Big D! ;-)
How completely adorable! Such wonderful work -- just love your paintings.
