My Grandfather was never without his Polaroid camera during the holidays. I cherish the distinctive white-bordered photos that I have from him that were taken in my childhood. For all of you who have been mourning the end of the Polaroid, here's a new option that's a pretty cool way to capture your favorite images. It's available here.

I had a polaroid camera, this looks so fun! Thanks!
Oh I do believe this needs to be on my wish list! I love Polaroids - so nostalgic and instant!
my 17 year old daughter has a vintage polaroid that takes perfect pictures. She doesn't leave home without it. But this one looks quite fabulous.
It's funny that you should post about the demise of the Polaroid camera Anne. We were at my daughter's on Friday and she had a parcel. It was 4 boxes of Polaroid film. She didn't pay a ;ot for them but apparentley, they are bidding up to £100 for them on ebay !! XXXX
How perfect-especially for those of us that love instant gratification! I hope all of your holiday preparation is all coming along nicely Anne. It's such a lovely time of year.
Oh I LOVE these! I hadn't seen them before - adding to my wish list now!
Wow Anne, I love this, I could not see the price, sure it is dear though!
How cool it that? I didn't even know that they were making anything like that now. I have fond memories of polaroids:)
That's right, the old white-bordered photos! I miss them sometimes! Have a great week Anne.

Polaroids were so much fun. We were in the southern Bahamas a long time ago and there was a man making a boat using hand tools only - no power tools. My husband had his Nikon with him and asked if he could take the man's picture. Yes, he said so we took his picture. He held out his hand waiting for the picture to come out. Of course no instant photo came out of the Nikon. I guess a Polaroid was the only camera he'd ever seen.

i'm glad fuji made this. polaroid will still be missed.
I read about this camera recently and "instantly" fell in love with it too. It IS all those memories of my grandparents with their Polaroid cameras & allowing us kids to hold the just snapped photo until the image magically appears. Did you get the message from your granddad too - "do not touch it, just hold it on the edge" My one grandfather would of been 110 this new year and boy did he love his camera. Thanks for the memory Anne x
oh gosh- i didn't even know polaroids were gone!! :( i have one & thoguht i just needed to grab some mroe film for it!!! haha wups!!
