HOUSEBOAT

I am loving this colorful houseboat on the Thames River that I saw a photo tour of here. It belongs to author Josie Curran and revolutionizes the concept of the dreary, damp, spider-laden houseboat. Lots of fun.

Oh Anne, you would never think that it was a houseboat, would you ? I L-O-V-E that battered old leather chair.
My neice lives on a dutch barge on the river, just outside London and they have just had an 'extension' on it where it was cut in half and a new piece put in. It was pretty large before the extension, so it will be very spacious now. XXXX

So lively and fun - I never would have guessed it's a houseboat! I love that they left the shoes next to the sofa in that photo! hehe! Hope you had a great weekend Anne!

I LOVE this! Did a post on houseboats a while back and find the whole concept fascinating. Thank you for sharing!

(PS- finally got around to reading magazines this weekend and spotted one of your chair cards. I recognized it immediately and was so happy for you to see it!)

I want the white couches. I have been on a couple of houseboats and none were like this one.
